MY FATHER'S SHADOW (SPECIAL SCREENING)
Two brothers spend a single charged day with the father they barely know, as Lagos holds its breath on the eve of an election.
A father takes his two young sons across Lagos on the day of Nigeria's 1993 election, a journey through a city on edge that becomes the only real day the three of them will ever share. Akinola Davies Jr.'s debut feature moves between the tenderness of a family reunion and the tremor of a country about to break.
